How do the transfer sessions work, and how are they scheduled?
The transfer sessions are 45 minutes long, where I show you what I've been teaching your dog over the week, and teach you how to work on, and maintain the progress or behaviors we have in place. They are scheduled when you sign up for the class.
What behavioral issues does the program address?
I can address anything from puppy socializing and training foundational behaviors, to addressing fear and anxiety. I specialize in Leash walking, home management, and greetings.
What is day training, and how does it differ from other dog training programs?
Positive Pathways Day Training, is where the trainer does all the training for you. While going through our 30 minute initial consult, we will set up goals that you want achieved. We will discuss the feasibility of the goals within the time frame, since there is no guarantee in behavior change. After our initial consultation, you will decide the times and days available for our expert trainer to come do the training for you. We meet twice a week with your dog, and we will have a transfer session once a week.
Is the training suitable for dogs of all ages and breeds?
Absolutely! You could have a 6 week old puppy, or a 20 year old senior dog. I can do the work to help you achieve your ideal dog.
How do the in-person and online transfer sessions work, and what are their benefits?
With the transfer sessions, I show you what and how I worked with your dog. I will show you how to do it and how to maintain it. The online transfer sessions would involve video of me working with your dog, as well as discussion on what I was doing. You will then have a chance to practice.
Are there any additional resources or support offered for ongoing training and development?
Yes, there are Office Hours Available Thursdays 6-8 pm. You can send an email to [email protected] om to schedule a 15 minute call.
There are also live and pre-recorded Webinars you will have access to for up to a year after your class ends.
Group Topics Classes are available year round to target those specific pain points, or learn fun new skills and games.
